A directory of American museums
An independent, no-fluff guide to 107 museums across 9 U.S. cities.
What this site is
A neutral travel guide to American museums. Every page shows current hours, admission prices, a review summary pulled from public ratings, and a direct ticket link where one is available. No sponsored rankings, no paid placements in the city lists.
How the rankings work
Museums inside each city are ranked by a weighted blend of average visitor rating and total review volume. A small, highly-rated museum doesn't automatically beat a huge, slightly-less-rated one — scale counts too, because it reflects how widely a museum is tested against real visits.
Where the data comes from
Opening hours, admission ranges, and visitor ratings are pulled from each museum's official site and Google's public business data. The site re-checks every museum weekly and auto-corrects any numbers that have moved.
How tickets work
When a "Get tickets" button appears, it links to a third-party ticket partner (GetYourGuide, Tiqets, etc.). If a museum isn't partnered with one of these, we link to the museum's own ticketing page instead. We may earn a small commission on tickets purchased through partner links, at no extra cost to you. That commission funds the site.
